Laboratory Experience
- While attending Missouri Western State University part of my degree included laboratory studies. Labs I participated in include microbiology, developmental biology, animal physiology, molecular cell biology, genetics and more. In these labs I learned the basics of laboratory procedures and good laboratory practices. My degree also included laboratory experience in chemistry including organic chemistry, biochemistry, general chemistry with qualitative analysis. In addition I was a student mentor / lab assistant for the Chemistry Department and did a teaching practicum in the Biology Department in the Organismal Biology Lab.
Extracurricular Activites
- While in High School I participated in a number of organizations and clubs including: Yearbook, Graphic Arts Club and Band. I was in band throughout my high school career including: Pep Band, Concert Band, Marching Band and Jazz Band.
