I was responsible for a staff of seventeen and management of the restaurant. I wrote an employee schedule on a weekly basis using the speedline system. I counted inventory on a weekly basis and entered the results using the speedline system. By using the usage variance I could determine the percentage of sales used for food cost. I ordered product twice a week and entered it through the Banta foods website. We received product twice a week and went line by line to ensure all product was delivered. We then entered the received product in our speedline system. I constantly participated in the training of our employees and made sure the high standards of service, product quality, and safety were met. I came up with different marketing techniques to help drive sales and used catch phrases on the readerboard to grab the attention of the public. I was also responsible for keeping labor cost low.
