During my temporary position at Syracuse Elementary, I would mentor 3rd and 4th grade students. I would plan activities for them. Play inside games with them. Pass out snacks during snack time. Monitor them when we went outside to play. After play time was over I would read to them. Make sure they did their homework.

I took four college credit classes my senior year, and was able to obtain 12 credits before my fall semester.

I was only able to pass 5 of my 6 classes. I was not ready to take 18 credit hours my freshmen year.

Upward Bound student. I was a part of a Pre-college program that showed me the steps to getting into college by helping me get scholarships and federal aid. They also helped me get used to my first year of college.
