Customer Service, sales, stocking, ordering, plan o grams, loss prevention, shrink control, inventory, human resources, cleanliness, food safety, dated merchandise, pest control; tobacco, alcohol and firearm safety. I had the pleasure of learning and helping out in all areas of our store. Since it was a super center I learned not only fashions where I started, but general merchandise as well as grocery. I started in Kids world as the department lead for about three years, I then was moved to Jewelry lead, which really helped my selling and customer service skills. In 2006 I was promoted to Soft lines Coach. I was now responsible for eight departments consisting of family clothing, jewelry, accessories, and home fashions. Unfortunately during my time with the company there were many cut backs and positions done away with, however this gave me the opportunity to learn so many other areas. I worked very closely with all departments and their leads. I lost many good associates along the way and had to train many from the bottom up. I am extremely proud of the team I put together. Team work is of the utmost importance in any task you undertake, and good customer service is the only thing that will set you apart from your competitors.
